The all new A3 Thermal Screen Maker has a massive 300mm imaging width – now enabling true A3 screens to be imaged in 1 pass.

The new machine is based on the Thermal Imaging technology using the reliable infrared heat lamp & carrier imaging method, previously used in VistaFax and 3M Secretary Thermal Copiers. The heat/ density of the imaging setting is changed by the speed at which the artwork passes through the machine.

Several major enhancements and modifications have been made to improve the system in terms of use, reliability and repair. A completely new design has removed all the complex moving wheels/ cogs and gears of the previous models, with a new electronic direct drive system used.

Overheating & carrier jams have been solved through the use of several internal sensors, which have a 2 stage operation by limiting the number of screens that may be imaged when the machine becomes hot after use and then stops the lamp when overheating has occurred – completely eliminating damage to the lamp, glass roller & internal components.

Great thing about the Internet is that it lets you check many prices before you order, however there are other factors you must consider before buying - other then just price.

US models are 110volt with a 110volt element, fuse, etc.

You WILL have to buy a proper professional grade power transformer or the fuse blows instantly and there's a risk to the heat element

Airfreight, Duty & GST must be added

US prices do not include import Duty and Taxes. At a pack weight of 13.5Kg Australian Customs WILL stop the parcel and charge you. Even if it's sent as a gift or 2nd hand item.

NEHOC give you a full 12 month warranty

If anything goes wrong you will have to freight the machine back to the US supplier for servicing & repairs.

So buying from the US may seem cheaper just comparing prices US$1149 against AU$2980, but convert the costs to Aussie dollars, add air freight, add duty, add GST and add any servicing costs and the lower US price is suddenly much more expensive.

It's of course up to you - we just want you to know there's more to it than just looking at a price.
