Fabric Screen Printing Ink

We use and recommend the new Aquatex brand, as this is the best fabric screen printing ink on the Australian market. If Aquatex ink is unavailable you can use other brands, provided they are water based fabric screen printing inks.

Inks can be separated into the following groups which vary upon the pigment level, thickness and material to be printed.

• Standard Colours - For general screen printing needs onto light coloured materials

• Opaque Colours - [Also known as Hy-Cover or Supercover] Eliminates transparent prints onto darker colour materials ie grey, Green, Blue, Black, etc. This ink has a heavier pigment level and may also be used for printing onto light coloured materials to provide a stronger print.

• Metallic Colours - Supplied in an Opaque format as standard

• Process Colours [CMYK]  - Ideal for colour mixing and also the only inks you should use for process colour printing

• Fluorescent Colours - Available in standard format and Opaque
